Once used as a shelter for the animals and replacement for the hay, it has been rehabilitated by the owners and turned into a residence, still keeping the old style of the building. Sited on a hill few kilometres far from Lucca, its position shows an excellent landscape of the surrounding valley. With olive trees merged in the terrace cultivation, it has a wood of acacia trees and maritime pines on the back. Recommended to those who are looking for a moment of relax, quiteness and full privacy.The house is used by the owners during the year, except for the summer period, when they move to another property.
 The house is a stone building, with the typical "Mandolate" (an old system to let the air flow through to dry the hay). It has valuable finishes, paved in wood, and two terraces paved in old terracotta style. It can host 5 - 6 persons, and is distributed on staggered levels: On the downstairs level there is a wide porch-studio, enclosed by a winter garden fully openable, leading directly to the swimming pool, a double bedroom (king-size bed) and attached bathroom with shower and double sink, bedroom with 2 single beds and bath with tub, and a bedroom with a French bed, Laundry room with washing machine and iron.
 Upper level: Kitchen equipped with 300 l. refrigerator, traditional oven, microwave and combined oven, dishwasher and several appliances (i.e. toaster)Wide dining room with a table , couch for two and TV set. There's also a small toilet.
 The oleander and olive tree garden is more than 4000 square meters, all fenced, and automatic gate. There is a ping pong table, barbeque, tables and chairs, and two new city bikes.The concrete 5.50x10.50 mt swimming pool is equipped with a sun dress and 5 deck-chairs. The swimming pool purifying system is not chemical, but uses salt ionization, which is a better and natural system.
