Tenuta Ricrio

A 600 hectare Tuscan Estate

Villa Ricrio sleeps 16.  Private swimming pool.Dependance.  Sleeps 2. Close to the medieval village of Guardistallo, on the well known “Wine Road,” a short distance from the beach, we rent holiday villas, each independant and scattered throughout the 600 hectare estate of “Tenuta Ricrio.”  All the villas are elegant and stylish, offering all modern comforts, therefore one can enjoy more fully the typical tuscany countryside. 

“Tenuta Ricrio”  is situated in the hills between coastal Cecina and inland Volterra.  The estate consists of a luxurious mansion, “Villa Ricrio,”that sleeps 16, has a swimming pool and a separate Dependance, suitable for 2 people, plus 4 other fully restored villas:  “Macchia al Loto,” sleeps 9, with swimming pool, “Villa Camperi” sleeps 8, with swimming pool, “Villa Gigliola,” sleeps 8, with swimming pool, “Villa Luisa,” sleeps 12 and has a heated swimming pool.  The Estate on a whole, can sleep 56 people.

 

“Villa Ricrio” is in a strategic position for tours to the coast  and to well-known art and wine villages such as Volterra, S. Gimignano, Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri, Pisa, Firenze, Lucca, Arcipelago Toscano National Park etc.  or to wineries such as Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Antinori and more.  There are many activities suitable for children in the area and some pets are welcome, however only upon request.  For more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

 The Villa is luxuriously furnished in the Tuscan style, has 2 floors and can sleep 16. A large terrace surrounds the villa and overlooks the private garden and swimming pool/barbecue area. Villa Ricrio’s interior has a little Chapel and “old stables,” where work and social occassions, photographic events or art presentations can be held. The rooms consist of 4 twin bedrooms and 4 double bedrooms.  One of the doubles is a master suite with private studio and bathroom. All beds are iron four posters. Sleeps 164 Twin bedrooms.1 Double bedroom.1 Double bedroom with en suite bathroom.1 Double bedroom with independent entrance.1 Double bedroom with private studio and en suite bathroom. TOTALLY:8 bedrooms6 bathrooms Specific needs and/or shorter holiday stays for Villa Ricrio and the other restored farmhouse villas scattered over the 600 hectare estate will be catered for where possibile upon request.  All together, the estate can provide, quite comfortably, accomodation for a total of 54 guests. Availability:Rented weekly all year round from Saturday to Saturday.Check in: between 5 and 7 pm.Check out: 9.30 am. Included in price:

    Highway A12 (Livorno-Rosignano), at the end of it (tollgate of Rosignano) follow for Roma (left freeway) exit Cecina centro.
    Once off the freeway follow for Guardistallo and

    then, arrived at Guardistallo, follow Casale Marittimo direction (pay attention to the road signs). Going to Casale Marittimo, 1 km after Guardistallo there is a cross where you have to
    get
    left to Bibbona, Volterra, Canneto, Ponteginori. Follow this road ( strada Provinciale dei tre Comune direzione Pozzatelli) until the end when you will keep left following Volterra.
    After
    about 800 meters, after the big yellow Villa Ricrio that you will find on the right there is the country road that bring you at the Reception: MEETING PLACE. If you have GPS the
    exact
    address is: Via della Camminata, 2 bis – Guardistallo – (Pisa). PS: It’s better to follow our indications because via della Camminata is 25 km long.

    From South:
    From Roma
    take the
    Aurelia direction Civitavecchia, then Grosseto and then follow Livorno direction. Exit at La California then follow Bibbona and after Bibbona remain on the same road that goes to
    Volterra.
    After Casale Marittimo, 3 km later you will meet the big yellow Villa Ricrio on the right. After it, 300 meters on the right there is the Reception.

    From Florence:
    Take
    the freeway
    FI-PI-LI direction Livorno. Before Livorno there are indications to Rosignano Marittimo highway 12. Arrived at Rosignano follow indications mentioned in direction from
    north.
