From Monaciano you may reach many other destinations for one day excursions like Perugia, Monatalcino, San Gimignano, Pisa, San Galgano, Lucca, Pienza, Arezzo, Pienza.
You may also drive or bike around toward the Chianti Classico area and find unique landscapes, colours, fragrances and sounds typical of the Tuscan lifestyle that has impressed men and women from all over the world. The Chianti Classico countryside is one of the most international and renowned places in the world. The little village of Castelnuovo Berardenga is an important part of the Chianti Classico area. In the tranquillity of the hills covered with oaks and cypresses lie turreted castles, ancient churches and monasteries, little villages and farms. Here the perfume of the vines and olive trees blends with the beauty of the landscape

From the North:
“Eurocity” or “Intercity” to Florence, then take a train to Siena (or bus SITA).
From the South :
“Eurocity” or “Intercity” to Chiusi-Chianciano Terme then take a train to Siena.
From Grosseto the train to Siena is “Freccia dell’Argentario”.
By car:
From Rome:
1) Motorway A1 Rome-Florence, exit Valdichiana;
2) Route n°326 (Bettolle – Siena), exit Siena East;
3) Go along “Viale P. Toselli” unil the end, at the final round about take the route n° 408 to Monterverchi until “Ponte a Bozzone”
4) At “Ponte a Bozzone” turn on the left, after 100 meters turn on the left again (blue sign to Monaciano), follow the white road until the Tourist Office.
From Florence:
1) Route Florence – Siena, exit Siena North
2) Follow the sign to the Railway Station, go through the new road, at the first traffic light follow the sign to Perugia or “Viale Toselli”, then go on towards Montevarchi, route n°408 until “Ponte a Bozzone”
3) At “Ponte a Bozzone” turn on the left, after 100 metres turn on the left again (blue sign to Monaciano) follow the white road until the Tourist Office.

Weekly prices per apartments include:
• WELCOME BASKET, including first day’s breakfast;
• GUIDED TOUR of the GARDEN and OLD CELLAR, followed by wine tasting of Estate’s wine;.
• Utilities, linens are included. Telephone charges are additional.
Additional linen changes can be provided on request with a 13 Euro surcharge per person.
An end cleaning fee of Euro 13 per person must be paid upon departure and is not included in the booking price.
MONACIANELLO 3 and PITURNELLA 2 are equipped for disabled people. POGGIO 2, POGGIO 3, POGGIO 5 have one extra bed included in the price.
Some apartments can be linked to create a larger one. The staff of Monaciano is experienced in organizing holidays for big families or large groups of friends.
The swimming pool is free for guests of Monaciano. Each apartment has an outside area fitted with an umbrella, a table, chairs and a portable barbecue.
Weeks are from Saturday to Saturday with check in time from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm; and check out by 10 am. During the medium and the low season holiday requests for period shorter than a week can be considered.
