Charming farmhouse in Tuscany completely restored rural hamlet in which the two holidays homes are situated. They consist in a portion of the old farm living quarters and ex-barn, both very comfortable and spacious. The hamlet is situated in a happy position, geographically. At only a five minute walk from the Mediaeval town centre it is immersed in the tranquillity of country life, surrounded by the renowned Vernaccia vines and the olive groves producing our high quality oil. Moreover, Il Borghettino is situated within the boundaries of a wide protected area for the re-introduction and breeding of wild fauna. Walking round the farm it is not rare to see pheasants, hares and even roe-deer and wild boar.

	FIENILE A splendid independent residence, completely restored, on two floors.
	GIRASOLE Portion of farm living quarters of about 80 square metres, composed of two bedrooms. One enjoys a splendid panoramic view of San Gimignano and the surrounding countryside from the windows.

The city of San Gimignano, declared World Heritage by UNESCO , is situated on a hill overlooking the Elsa Valley at 330 metres above see level at just 56 km from Florence. The city was founded on the site of a small Etruscan village named “Silva”, its more recent history began in the 10th century a.d. taking its name fro the Bishop Saint of Modena San Gimignano who, although having lived five centuries earlier, when invoked in prayer by its inhabitants is reputed to have saved the city from the barbaric hordes, appearing miraculously on the city walls. In Mediaeval times, thanks to its position on the “Via Francigena”, the route taken above all by the pilgrims from France travelling towards. Rome, the city enjoyed a splendid rebirth o works of art decorating churches, convents and stately abodes, many of which still surviving.

Weekly prices, expressed in euros, from Saturday to Saturday.

Caution deposit: upon the arrival of our guests we ask for a deposit of 150,00 Euro which will be returned at the end of their stay.

The weeks are intended from Saturday to Saturday. Check-in from 15.00 to 19.00 Check-out by 10.00 am

For last minute bookings (within the fortnight preceding arrival) we will calculate a 20% discount on the weekly price.

The prices include: - The prices are intended per week - Provision of bedlinen and towels for toilet and kitche - Consumption of hot and cold water, gas for cooking and electricity - Weekly charge of bed linen and towels - For “Girasole” a basket of wood bloks for the open fire - Cradle and high-chair upon request - Use of the barbecue - Use of the swimming pool in the indicated seaso - Apparatus for childrens games in the garde - Taxes (IVA 10%)

The prices don't include: - Gas for heating: charge based on consumptio - Cleaning at the end of the stay: 50,00 Euro - Washing machine: there is a machine available at the cost of 6,00 Euro per wash including soap- powder, hygienizer and softening agent. - Extra change of bedlinen and towels: 7,00 Euros per person for bedroom and toilet; 5,00 Euros per person for kitchen.

Payment: We can never accept payment with credit card. All payments excepting those made on the spot in cash will have to be made trough bank transfer orders. We will give you our bank account details on receipt of your requested booking. At the moment of booking we require an initial 30% payment for the stay. We ask for a further bank transfer with the balance 60 days before the start of the holiday.

In case of renunciation up to 40 days before the start of the holiday, 50% of the payment made will be reimbursed. From the 39th day up to the day of arrival no refund will be made.

The town of San Gimignano is easily reachable either by car or by public transport. Situated in the centre  of Tuscany, San Gimignano is a good point for quickly  reaching  any part of the Chianti area, some of the coast and many and many of the interesting Tuscan cities of art such as  Firenze, Siena, Pisa, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Volterra and Lucca. The nearest railway station, at Poggibonsi, can be  reached by car or by bus in 15 minutes. The nearest airports,  Florence, Pisa and Bologna are at about 90 minutes from San Gimignano.
